What did I just say in my other review about the soft and ever-so-cuddly underbelly? Here you do it again. And it definitely brought a smile to my face! The laughter of Finduilas... I can hear it. But what really gets me about this drabble is your characterisation of Finduilas. I can't imagine Denethor marrying any other sort of women, who was not so blinded by passion that she forgot about duty, or the other way around.

There's something unnerving about the fact that Finduilas never directly answers Imrahil's question. She appears happy enough, but I'm not entirely satisfied with her remarks that marriage is affection and respect. Clearly, Imrahil is not either, but Finduilas seems content right now. It's probably enough to satisfy her brother for the moment, but I can't help shivering. Something about this feels slightly ominous.

Very nice, simple, clear; this captures a moment nicely. I love it when a drabble sounds natural and unforced as this does.

An interesting view. I like the fact that you show Finduilas as happy or at least content in her marriage. This drabble gives interesting insits into her personality and that of Imrahil.

"I see many sides of him that you do not, brother."I've loved this drabble for this one line for some time now. Hysterical, true, and an excellent answer to one's brother's inquiries!
