Glorfindel as a young elfling is cute, indeed, and his father seems like a great father. I liked their interaction and the imagination of the child. Nice writing style as well.

Squee! That was one of my all time favorite quotes from the book. It made me fall in love with Glorfindel right away when I read them. (Legolas who?) What a great story. Little GLorfindel! Yay!

Beautiful story of a young Glorfindel. The title is especially apt, and the young whirlwind of energy can easily be seen the precursor to the fierce defender of Gondolin who lost his life in a battle against a Balrog as well as the elf who charged against the remaining Ringwraiths on foot after a flood had swept their compatriots away. Refreshingly simple story that lays the foundation for a very powerful character.
