Summary: 30x100 words For NaQuaWriMo (National Quality Writing Month) 2010, 30 true drabbles set in J.R.R. Tolkien's Arda. They span the scope of his creation, from the Timeless Halls where Eru dwells, through the Ages until the Dagor Dagorath--the Final Battle which precedes the renewal of Arda at the end of time, as the muse directs.

A lovely collection of drabbles that span from the Age of the Trees to modern times. Rhyselle spins word-webs of homesick Ithilien rangers, hobbits questing towards doom or welcoming a new life, Elf and Dwarf working together in the Fourth Age, and the fading of the mallorns of Lothlorien. All the drabbles are well-written, and the scope is audacious; but my favorite is the tale of Legolas' terror as his father's passenger in a speeding Daimler that the erstwhile Elf-king is happily trying out at top speed in the late 19th century of our current era.

A very diverse series of drabbles and topics, but with a number of highlights and well worth reading. The idea of Ghan-buri-Ghan still living in his forest in the Fourth Age and aiding Gondorians in [Gratitude], Thranduil driving Mr. Toad-style in [Terror], the possible fate of Sam's stewed rabbit in [Stew] stood out in particular to me, though there is any number of small and often overlooked scenes that rhyselle brings to life with with her words. Well done!

I love it, the intricate and minute details are beautifully presented in such simple and small ficlets, and despite being so short it conveys emotions and thoughts beautifully
