LKK does a good job of finding the balance and the compromise that characterize the friendship between Legolas and Gimli. That this balance and compromise can be summed up in a drabble (and summed up so well!) amazes me and I'm still shaking my head with jealousy. Good economy of words and good understanding of the characters!

LKK too just a few words and showed us the friendship Gimli feels for Legolas. I have come to love drabbles because of ones like LKK's.
