The author gives a small mystery and the why of it… a very nice tale for the category!

From the sound of the penname, and the main character of the story, I'd say Werecat is a cat person like myself. This author knows cats, that's evident in the writing of That Way. And good writing it was, giving catas a culture and history far beyond what we'd normally think of for them.

Reviews for Orcs

Stories: You will see them at night
Werecat tries to find the unusual nitches in fandom, and I enjoyed this glimpse into the life of an orc with a passion for something other than blood.

Werecat successfully wrote a very complex Orc character. Odd that he would read, we might be led to think he could turn into a good orc. But Werecat keeps him an Orc just the same. And leaves us chilled for the experience.

Not a very believable Orc but a very interesting story.

Stories: Love me, Urgren
Werecat manages to give Orcs a hint of romance, which sounds like a difficult task but somehow comes across as effortless. Working with the tools Orcs prefer most (the gore and the carnage and the disgusting side of life in general) Werecat manages to produce a love song that rings very true to the characters, conveys the idea of seduction and sentimentality, and makes me cringe when I think about it too long. All of which I love.
