There are many authors out there whose drabbles I admire. But Ann often takes my breath away because she rarely writes anything else. When I read a drabble, for example, about Gwynnyd's Aragorn, I am able to read Gwynnyd's longer stories about him to fill in a few of the grey spaces around the edge of the moment she has painted.
