Well, I give the first Sue points for originality. I don't think I've ever seen a Sue so persistently call upon the powers of Odin before. That was definitely a surprise. What did the Norse gods ever do to get pulled into this crazy mess? Or the Greek gods, for that matter? Good thing Boromir and Gimli are there to straighten things out, and thank heavens that Denethor and Faramir can keep their heads on straight, too. Fun parody. I enjoyed Luthien's presence.

Maybe it's just my loathing of Sues, but this story absolutely captures my every emotion. (Except seriousness, of course.) I shudder in horror at Vallawen and Athena, scream in mirth at Gingus Kahn, (yes, Gingus Kahn,) the Sue’s noble steed, and pray to Eru Boromir and Gimli’s mission will be a success.

Amusing, with some interesting fourth wall breaches (deliberately, although some felt a bit shaky).
