This is a very charming and humorous bit of wee!hobbit fluff. It's Pippin's first meeting with Gandalf, and the little Took is as curious and irrepressible as ever. I love his non-stop chatter and the way that the questions jus seem to pour out of him.

Definitely a fun story, and I loved Gandalf's introduction to Pippin. A walking tree with moss on it! Very clever. But really, the thing that got me was the last line. Perfectly timed, perfectly delivered, and a perfect play on the traditional response and the response we have probably all wanted to give from time to time. Well done.

This was a nice read and you nailed Pippin's character as a young child (especially the endless stream of questions). But it felt a little unfinished. I would have liked to read more.

Little Merry and Pippin were lovely here and Pippin's meeting with Gandalf was very funny. An entertaining read. Angie has a deft hand with humour.

I adore this meeting between Gandalf and tiny Pippin! Angie really writes little hobbits in such a sweet and realistic way!
