Fascinating ride. I've never read a fic quite like this, and I very much enjoyed it. And yes, it was eerily reminiscent of Stephen King, though I consider this better written than anything King puts out. I kept looking to see if the new sequence would be the one that explained the rest of them, but it never really did, though there were many clues and hints dropped along the way. The fact that each one started out with roughly the same line gave an unnerving, surreal feel, and built the tension quite nicely. Very unique and very different story.

This is another example of Pearl's wonderful imagination. This story is written in a really interesting style, and the content works well within the framework.
