Summary: Found in the ruins of what was once Angband. The original Dark Lord has quite the knack for badfic writing (and apparently a little "thing" for Fëanor). This is his notebook of ideas. Read at your own risk.

This is hilarious. I don't even know that much about Morgoth, but it's a great read all the same. Humor is a subject rarely tackled with grace in fanfiction, but this author makes it so - even with what is meant to be a very dark character. I love that the story reads like Morgoth's personal journal and find it even better than he aspires to be a writer. His version of events are very skewed indeed! The interjection of the idea of Mary Sue and Morgoth's subsequent dabbling in the idea of "Modern Girl in Middle Earth" is truely inspired. Was that a way of getting yourself into the story?? Excellent. The idea of Morgoth being banished to the Void is brilliant. The only thing better would have been giving him a computer to go with his cable! Still, his twisted versions of Star Wars and Harry Potter made me laugh until tears ran down my face. It is possible that I will never look at the word "psychotic" seriously again. I somehow recognize some of the story lines that follow. Why is that? Put it down to Morgoth trolling too much on (which I would have spelled out to get you more word count, my dear, but I was worried about being *sued*). Do I suspect you have even spoofed yourself? Yes. NOW that takes confidence! I love that you are able to poke fun at yourself and all the other lovestruck in the fandom. Am I guilty? You betcha! Thanks for an entertaining, humourous and well-written read!

Oh ouch. Oh the pain. Yes, this is quite the little set of badfic, but the author being Morgoth makes it hysterical. The little summaries of what's going on in M-e, his "inspirations" for writing, the legal problems with Fëanor, the obvious and pathological hatred of Sauron (who dies in every story he appears in, and there is literarily much rejoicing each time), the invention of "the Other Place" whence girls come to Middle-earth—these make what would be unbearably painful fics into comedy gold.

A brilliently funny and silly piece. I had never imagioned Morgoth writing bad fic, but it is just such an amusing idea. The bad fic plots with their confusion of which sides the author agrees with and illogicalness are wonderful, so like too many stories that are written seriously. I like your touch fro humour, you seem to know exactly how far you can go on the sillyness and everything without it stopping being funny.

I honestly don't think anyone but Arandil could have pulled this off, or even would have conceived of this. The motifs in the badfic are ones that anyone who has spent time in any fandom for any length of time will recognise: the unlikely crossover. The bad teenage angst. The completely unbelievable OFC. But having Morgoth being the one who writes it, just made it all the more hilarious. This piece should come with a DEFINITE coke and cats warning.

*snort* Where do I even start with this fic? Simply put, it was brilliant. So many cliches, so little time, and yet they all wandered in, even the implausible crossovers. I must admit that I found the reactions (particularly Feanor's) to be the best part, but the stories themselves were also good. A few of those early stories seemed almost prophetic...

This is a very funny story. To have it be from Morgoth's point of view is very unique. His view on the other characters in this story are completely hilarious, and it is a good characterization of Morgoth himself as well, as it shows his megalomania to quite good effect. I would definitely recommend this story to anyone who is interested in having a good laugh!

Oh golly! This should come with a beverage warning! Morgoth as a frustrated fanfic writer--a *bad* one! I love the Mary-sueishness of his stories. (Sadly, I've seen actual fanfic that was worse.)

What a bunch of delightfully awful story ideas. I guess we can all just be gratefull he didn't actually write any of them out. I actually almost feel sorry for the Dark Lord now. I laughed a lot while reading this.
