Summary: A poem describing the Swanhaven.

This poem has a nice rambling, almost melancholy feel. It's a description of the geograhical wonders of the backdrop of Alqualonde, and nothing hints at the kinslaying -- except for one line that contains the slightest of hints: "scattered with stars that nothing mars". And the form was complicated enough to make me think that this might be written by elves who had an eternity to practice it. It worked.

Great poem! The rhyme scheme gave the rhythm greater flow, and it took on an almost sing-song quality. The imagery contributed to this, and I love the continual references to the sea. It makes the waters a very clear and defining characteristic of Alqualonde.
