I really wish there were more Arwen sans Aragorn tales. She deserves a bit of limelight without her husband and she is in need of serious characterization. This drabble provided quite a bit of that. She was calm, collected, and comforting, but she could sense what was coming and she knew there was reason to fear. She's very much Elrond's daughter, and having her assist him, almost without thought, is a brilliant idea. I wonder if her role in Lothlorien was similar. Great drabble.

I found this an excellent drabble for so many reasons - the rarely seen pairing of Arwen and Bilbo, Arwen's quiet strength, the unspoken closeness between Arwen and Elrond ... despite so few words you've created a rich story of dramatic action and deep characterizations.

Arwen couldn't have sat idle in Rivendell with all that excitement, could she? A nice look at her relationship with Bilbo, and what her role might have been in Frodo's healing.

An interaction as rare as it is brief. Nice to see Arwen in her capacity as healer in her own right, and the concern both she and Bilbo share for Frodo.

The thing I really like about this drabble is the amount of characterisation you give Bilbo, and in just five words: "The normally cheerful voice quavers." That to me is the very heart of his personality. Well done all around on this one.

A very nice moment frozen in 100 words; I could easily see it as I read.
