Eww. Bleh. I know, it says horror. I read the summary and the first paragraph or two and you had me hooked. I couldn't stop reading. Yeah, I know, just like every Stephen King I've ever read, they scare me, but I absolutely have to read it all. Very icky (and I mean that as a compliment)

Spooky little thrill ride that reminds me very much of a story about a boarding house I read when I was little. That story gave me nightmares for a week, and this brings back those memories uncomfortably well. The scene was set very well in the opening moments, an I like Eomer's initial edginess that gradually goes away. It's one of those moments where you scream at the characters to leave but they never listen, and that's half the fun.

A nicely spooky story. And well-written, too and mostly error-free if I remember rightly.. Not that I like the fact that Legolas died, but at least he went down fighting. ;-) No happy ending on this one, but then, this is the Horror category.

Yay! This is true horror, a cold, remorseless tale of evil! I loved the whole thing, espeically the summary. This is the kind of story that makes me smile.
