Another witty skewering of a fandom favorite plot device: the modern girl falls into Middle-earth... and the laws of gravity have their usual effect.

CNell does it again. Or, I suppose I should say does it first, because this was one of CNell's first LotR fics if I remember correctly. In any case, the irony surrounding the summary is probably the funniest thing about this story. We're more or less kept in the dark as to what's going on until the very end, though I had my suspicions. And I was right, but that didn't make it less hilarious. A great take on the "girl falls into Middle-earth" idea and a wonderful use of wordplay.

I nearly missed this one, and what a shame that would have been. CNell's sense of humor conquers again. This is, hands down, my favorite "girl falls into Middle-Earth" stories. No one can do it as well as CNell.
