First off, I find this whole fic to be patently absurd! *grin* Seriously, I can identify with so much of what is going on in Elladan's life, I just laugh out loud. Yes, my cat stares at me when I do that. Gildor's 130 email forwards are too funny, I have an uncle who does that. I just don't have the heart to tell him that I just delete them for the sake of expediency. And the running away! Perfect, especially as no one appreciates Elladan! That is SO college student. Oh, and the part about Elrohir being too lazy to do anything to facilitate his laziness! Yeah, that had me laughing, and thinking about someone I know in real life! I totally love the part where Elladan is listing the times, after they get the car in Rohan. the diet dr. pepper, there is diet dr. pepper all over the dash.... Oh yes, that's why I always had the center console of my beat up car filled with napkins swiped from fast food places. Someone always spilled something!

Poor Elladan! Such a life! Grandpa is my favorite in this one and that thing with Erestor. Always glad that they're not my family. Legolas and Elrohir are a hoot!

I liked this one even better than Home for the Holidays! Erestor goes label crazy and Glorfindel robs the cradle. Elrond's after Legolas in short-shorts, and Elladan is addicted to his computer and email messages. The fun continues in Lorien, with a riotous Celeborn and Galadriel, and Rumil and his 'roommate' whose intellectual activities land Elladan on the front page.

One of my favorite stories ever. Though it's wildly over-the-top, you still manage to make us care about the characters, even as we're choking with laughter. And you really nail all our little vanities and flaws through Elladan. Hysterical and wonderful.

Any story that describes Legolas as a poncy wanker in short-shorts humming the theme song to Scooby Doo rates very high on my list. There are so many funny highlights that I don't even know where to begin. The main thing that stuck with me long after reading the story? Glorfindel drinking whiskey and Gatorade. Eew.
