Summary: This is a very mild humor story about the One Ring. Frodo bumps into Feanor shortly after fleeing from Boromir. Feanor reforges the shoddily made One Ring. You'll like Sting's origins.

Oh! *hee* Feanor thought it was tacky?! *snicker* He would though, wouldn't he? Funny.

Mildly funny, I thought it was great! Stings origions are indeed great, made by Feanor for Glorfindel. 'This piece of crap, why would I want it?' Feanor then demonstrates the flaws in The Ring, and goes on about cheap spells and shoddy workmanship. I love how he reforges The Ring and destroys Sauron by doing so, but the best bit is the silmaril he gives Frodo, forged from the music of the world. Fitting, considering his second son is a great singer and musician. I laugh every time I read this, my favourite of your stories Cirdan!

Very enjoyable. I loved your view of Feanor, and his attitude toward Sauron and the work of other hands is right on target.
