Summary: When Aragorn and Legolas comes into the possession of an ancient map that tell where one of the lost Palantiri is hidden they end up in more trouble than they bargained for, as it seems that everyone wants to get their hands on the stone, no matter the cost. But a more sinister force is at work than even the elf and the ranger realize.

Cassia and Siobhan deliver again! Action, suspense, angst, and a bit of blood here and there. The ending was the right decision. It wouldn't have been right if they'd managed to keep the palantir. And a special note on the bad guy's lackeys. Cassia and Siobhan kept them from being 2-D bad guys and gave them some depth and humanity, and that is a mature thing for any writer to do.
