This is a beautiful movie!verse vignette in which Cheryl shows us how Aragorn moves from his doubts on the river bank to his assumption of his role as IsildurÂ’s Heir. AragornÂ’s reflections on his companions and how he uses that to understand and accept his own destiny are well handled. His tribute to Boromir, the recognition of their differences and similarities, and how Aragorn can do no less than Boromir in overcoming his weakness. Although I dislike the movies characterisation of Aragorn, I think Cheryl has done an excellent job with the material.

Not quite enough there for my satisfaction, but one imagines Aragorn would need to come to terms with that argument more than once.
