I believe this is the most unconventional romantic pairing out of all those nominated here. For all that, it's still very canon-based, which makes it that much more fun. So now we all know how Lobelia REALLY feels about Bag End. I can hardly say I'm surprised, but her fixation seems a little unhealthy to me. Still, great poem and an intriguing glimpse into Lobelia's mind.

Bizarre and oddly unsettling, but also appropriate for Lobelia. And, yes, the sustained punny metaphor was highly amusing.
