Quite entertaining, too bad that Will Turner wasn't on board! That could have added a whole new level of confusion!

Short, fun crossover that stays light enough to avoid most of the entanglements and problems that you find with other crossovers. If you'll pardon the pun, I was reminded of the saying "two ships passing in the night," except that the two ships met briefly in this story and then continued on. Quick encounter that is soon over, but is fun for the novelty and the character interaction.

The characters certainly felt right, even in unfamiliar waters. I would have liked a mention of Jack's strange swaying and what Aragorn or Legolas thought about it. It was funny in parts, though I could have used more action.

All I can say is thank God Will Turner wasn't there. But this was an entertaining way of getting Jack and the Pearl into Middle-earth. I enjoyed seeing Elphir get time as an actual character. Light-hearted fun.

I enjoyed this, Eledwhen! I think you've got Sparrow's dialect and mannerisms down pat, and I enjoyed the glimpse of Elphir as captain. Aragorn seemed a bit stiff, as he might well be compared to J.S.! Taking his king role a bit seriously¬Ö

This was a fun story of a meeting of two worlds I enjoy. You managed to keep everyone in character through the whole encounter - Captain Jack's voice was particularly well done. I would have like to have seen them do more together - perhaps battle a common enemy. Maybe in the sequel they can meet up with a Corsair ship?
