Stories that include a female OC run a huge risk at being discarded outright by readers who have seen one-too-many badly written romances. That said, I offer up my respect to Miriel361 for not only daring to write a female OC but also for writing her WELL. This is an excellent story that doesn't forget the fact that it's set in Middle-earth and there are other characters around. The personalities of surrounding elves are noted, taken in, and expanded upon. Very well-rounded tale that keeps in mind just how powerful its characters can be.

This story is quite an adventure and I have found myself rapped up in the journey of the original female character. Not only does she have a huge task ahead of her, but she is just not getting a break at all. From the moment she steps into Middle-earth to try and fin the one she is searching for she became hunted. Worse is now she is in ht e captivity of those who were hunting her. Deliciously nerve racking and spell-binding topics have been woven in the story. I have been captivated by the journey the female character has been thrown into. The author has her readers waiting for an update while the ofc has been injured and her kin are trying to find her. I can not wait for the next chapter.
