Very interesting perspective, Larian. We see a lot of stories about the effects of the Ring on Frodo (and Bilbo and Sam), but much less about how the Elven Rings affected *their* bearers. I also like how you have Celeborn being such a power in Galadriel's life. Well done

Galadriel's thoughts of her husband are so sweet. I really like that she thinks he is so very special, which of course he is! Celeborn is an underrated character, and this little fic shows him as the strong elven leader and good husband he was

I love Celeborn and Galadriel fics and this one is my favorite one. It never fails to make me cry when I read it. I prefer seeing them portrayed as true lovers than any other way. Larian writes the longing and the sadness so well as well the lust for power. We know that without him or the promise of seeing him in the future that Galadriel would just fade away.

If she was the lady of light, he was keeper of the flame. That quote was beautiful and I really found myself intrigued to read Galadriel parting from Middle-earth. It was nice to see how she felt and the things she was thinking about as she sailed away from the place she had lived for so many years.

Very moving and well wrought story of Galadriel's memories as she crosses the waters to Valinor. The elves fade as the light in Narya, and leave Middle-earth in the hands of Men. "The Keeper of the Flame", a fitting title not only for Galadriel, lady of the light, but also for Celeborn, who holds the flame of her spirit, her heart, and the world she is leaving.
