I know it's rather silly of me, but I wanted Elladand and Elrohir to tell Legolas more of what they knew about the 'ancient path.' I mean, it seems a little as if he's being sheltered here, but that's just my impatience and need for instant gratification. I thought it was odd that Elrohir said that Almerial (sp?) was acting unnaturally by not being jealous. I mean, it sounded as if he disapproved of her *not* being jealous, maybe that Enederion (sp?) deserved to win Dauron more. Just a little thing that flashed through my head as I was reading, it probably was just my spin on it, and means nothing in the larger scope of the story. (And I can't remember what goes on with them, next, so I'm really guessing here).

Once again, excellent writing makes this worth reading, IMO. Even for a non-slash reader, I was enthralled.

I love this little story with such saucy twins and sweet naughty Legolas. I loved Legolas' wide-eyed innocence about relations between males. Eresse writes the twins in a most delightful way, as if they are friends of hers as well as ours. Arwen, tiny Arwen is a total delight. I really enjoy stories with elflings if they are well done. It would only make sense that Elrond's little princess would grow up a tomboy. And a prankster. I have not read all of this series but I surely intend to as every snippet I have read has been well written and fun to read.
