I really like the concept and I was interested in finding out what and how much the author was going to tell us. I wish I could give it more points. The present tense really didn't work for me. It is a rare form and should stay rare--only the most accomplished writers under the most particular of circumstances can make it work. The story left me feeling a bit dissatisfied and wanting more. It apparently is part of a series. Great idea though.

At first glance I thought I could see nothing in common between Feanor and Harry Potter and only read this story out of curiosity. I was surprised to find that they do have links which might well have formed a bond between them were they ever to meet. It was good to see Harry find someone who could finally truly understand his pain for the mother he lost. A curious but thought provoking and moving encounter.

An odd encounter between Harry Potter and a very young Feanor, from Harry's POV. Never thought I'd see these two in tandem, but it does highlight a point of shared similarity.
