I can see hobbits sitting around singing this while drinking. It's fast, upbeat, and has a veryÂ…hobbity feel. I'm not sure how else to describe it. It strikes me as the sort of thing that hobbits would sing about, and for some reason, the ending made me smile. Now I just need the right tune to put it to.

Very funny! The rhythm melded itself to a tune in my head; I could almost hear the hobbits singing it down at the Green Dragon. Never drink alone! (And here's another good reason why, that I never thought of before: The roof might fall in!)

This was great fun-I think the moral at the end fit the genre (drinking song) very nicely, and the rhythm worked pretty well too. Most entertaining!
