Lovely and sweet, and oh so much fun! You've well captured the sincerity of these youngsters, and the exasperated love of a mother in the face of their seemingly wild behavior.

I just love this story. It has so many of those little details that bring fiction into the realm of reality. I have experienced at first hand the frustration of having little ones busy about some project that burdens me with so very much extra work... only to find that they were doing it all for *my* benefit. Pearl, you obviously know and love your hobbits, and you've given them a Shire that they'd be sure to feel at home in.

Very sweet. Almost too sweet but not quite over the edge. I like when young Pippin is more than just the troublemaker or comic relief.

I think that my favourite part of this was that all the children loved their aunts as though they were another parent. I love that the two families are depicted as being that close. Very sweet and enjoyable.
