This was a hilarious romp of a tale, and I enjoyed every minute of it. It was very much a comedy of errors, with people turning up in the most unlikely places at the most unlikely times, just in time to put Murphy's law to good use. Sam does indeed save the day as it is his fast thinking that prevents events from going even further astray than they already have. Pippin's newfound love of washing things is hilarious, and Merry's enjoyment of Pippin's punishment was beautifully in character. I can easily see that behavior on behalf of my favorite Brandybuck. Outstanding story.

I don't know how I missed this, but I did! I cannot leave much of a review here, having had only enough time for chapter one, but do be assured I hope to come back to this story and leave more feedback at (if all goes well--however, with "Murphy's Law" staring me in the face at the top of chapter one, perhaps I'm being too optimistic!)
