Summary: Feanor's soul is wandering in the Halls of Mandos, lost in the maze of corridors and lack of memory.

Endless... Such are the Halls of Mandos. At least for those who wander their corridors, exploring them together with their own memories and forgetting them in the very next moment. So wanders the spirit of Feanor, and his thoughts form this story. They seem grey and misty, muddled, and so the reader can feel them, get into his head and see through his eyes, feel his eternal confusion. A Spirit of Fire, that burned too bright, and devoured itself. And here, in Mandos, you can taste the ashes...

An interesting mood piece - I like the challenge of writing a character who forgets almost as soon as he experiences. And of course, one wonders how many times he has remembered, how many times he has met the figure in the hall.

This is a lovely story. It is a very poignant take on what Feanor might have to endure while waiting in the Halls.

Endless is a lyrical and image-filled ficlet, written with beautiful and poignant descriptions that really highlight the narrator's disquiet. Excellently done!
