This story was a re-mix of a story by GamgeeFest, one which is also a favorite of mine. In GF's story a young Pippin, pretending to be the "Bullroarer" of hobbit fame, stalks his older cousins who are on an ice-fishing expedition. A near tragedy is averted. Pearl began with the identical scenario, but took the ending in an entirely different direction. I really enjoyed how resourceful young Merry and Pippin were in an emergency. They both kept their heads and came through ["in a pinch"] as the Professor says.

A really nice little tale of the Fellowship's youngest member. Such an imagination. I particularly liked the ending. Nicely done.
