I'm so very jealous of people who can write villanelles. Or any of the more structured forms of poetry. And I'm even more jealous of people who can adhere to the villanelle's form and make it mean something. Eomer's fey mood really comes across in this poem as well as his brashness and his willingness to die. Because who really knows what he'll find when it happens?

Chilling, especially with the passage noted below. I needed it as I haven't read LOTR for awhile now. Well done.

Nicely done. The poem was technically nice, but I really liked seeing this scene explored.
