Evocative and sad--I liked the small signs of fading: the fog coming in to cover the clarity of an elven dream, and clouds to cover what had been a legendary sky. The fading of the voices in the Hall of Fire, and their songs of a past summer's glory, were a fitting ending. Well done, Acacea!

How sad. This made me wonder whether part of Elrond's changing perception might be Arwen's choice - I know that after a loss happiness can only make your own sorrow more poignant. Either way, this drabble did a good job of conveying his sense of what has been lost.

A wistful, beautiful snippet that conveys the pathos of the fate of Imladris and its Elves in the wake of Sauron's defeat. Excellent use of description and subtle emotion. The drabble strikes me as quite Tolkienesque in language and sentiment.

A very evocative look at how Rivendell must have appeared to Elrond, after the loss of his Ring's power. The fading is there already. Wonderful imagery, dreamy and poignant.

Poor Elrond. Frost is touching his heart and the end draws near. You can't help but feel for him - and the end of an era.

A wonderful vignette, a look at Imladris as the spell of the Elven ring fades.
