*dreamy sigh* That was short, but very powerful. From the very first line I was immediately transported to Gil-galad's ivory elven towers on Emyn Beraid, where I admired their beauty and lamented at the loss of all they had once known, and then - bidding them farewell forever - I left to soar joyfully across the sparkling Sea, eager to reach the eternal Utopia I knew lay in wait for me. Gosh, I loved this. Absolutely fantastic. Why can't all poetry be as absorbing and thrilling and electric as this? It certainly should be! Hugely recommended!

What a lovely poem! I love the end the most. Indeed if he knew peace would come there this soon I hope it would be a great solace for him. Thank you for this glimpse into his thoughts and feelings.

Frodo's dream in the house of Tom Bombadil is here described. Wonderful imagery and good uses of repetition and in evoking Tolkien's own words without actually using them. Very evocative!
