Summary: What was Boromir thinking as he held the Ring in his hands on top of Caradhras?

Interesting. A little uneven to me, but there's a rightness to the way that the Ring sinks its invisible fangs into Boromir, so that it does take him some time to shake off that influence, and come to a point where he realizes he is afraid of himself, and not really of the others of the Fellowship.

A movie-verse vignette, based on the scene in the snow, when Boromir picks up the Ring: his thoughts are more chilling than the setting.

There's something appropriately creepy about this piece, as Boromir discovers the power of the Ring in a far too believable way! I shall never watch that scene in the film again without shivering.
