Reading this is a bit like watching a truly excellent juggler adding balls -- and bananas, and apples, and watermelons -- to the act. You just know that something unlikely is going to go wrong, and in the most entertaining way possible, too! Truly strong Fellowship stories, where no character gets lost in the shuffle, are rare, but Budgielover specializes in them. Each person has a distinct voice in all her stories, and the characterizations are so strong that it's easy to forget that the things she writes about are not always "in the book."

I must confess that this is a delightfully fun adventure story. It has it all, hurt / comfort, drama, adventure and even a little comedy. I often think of this piece as the most typical example of Budgie's work - it has a serial quality that just makes reading it fun and easy. Don't forget your popcorn while you read, but this one is a delightful tale.

This is another rolliking good story from Budgie. The creature is a satisfying menace, as is the assassian. My favourite part has to be the flying disc, and Pippin and Merry. Thank goodness for Legolas! I am still waiting for the sequel you know!

Another exciting gapfiller by this author. Here the premise is that the Company decides to stop at a little village to get supplies--one thing follows after another. There is excitement, danger, angst, and humor in nearly equal amounts. Very adventurous little story!

An excellent story detailing the adventures of the Fellowship when stranded in a small town on the early days of the Quest. Both hilarious and suspenseful, Budgie outdoes herself with this fic.
