I am just chuckling very hard at the very thought of Giant Pink Rabbits tearing off the roof of the Smails. Am I the only one who thought of plotbunnies immediately? Anyway, Dreamflower writes a lovely and insightful story about the Took family where she mixes drama with humour. Paladins muttering sounds so familiar when you try to nurse a man back to health, that I felt very sorry for Eglantine. The manner how the healer and Primrose sets he muttering Paladin straight was incredibly enjoyable. Hes deep down a very caring and loving family man, and Dreamflower wrote this brilliantly. But those bunnies *grin* And we also know now from whom Pippin inherited that stubborn part. A great story Dreamflower!

Pink rabbits, eh? Hmm, that sounds an awful lot like pink elephants although in the Thain's defence he was ill, not drunk. It must be hard to go against someone who is used to power but I think that we know where the power in that family is despite what he thinks. Lovely story, Dreamflower.

Great story. Dreamflower nicely ties this story into her wider uniferse with mentions of characters and events from other stories. I especially loved the large pink rabbits. Paladin is both an annoying yet simpathitic character. The whole thing was so believable.

And now we see where Pippin gets it. This explains a lot. Even the giant bunnies. And I loved how Paladin was still stubborn even after his tooth was taken out. Clearly a hobbit to be reckoned with.
