Sniff what a heart wrenching scenery you write here Dreamflower. You say so much with so many words. Their pain is so tangible and the manner how both deal with their grieve now that Frodo is truly gone: so incredibly moving. Each deal with it their own way and at the end, they find each other through Pippins music. This is just beautiful, I love the manner how you put words to pain this deeply, since this parting was such a hard thing to go through. A beautiful vignette Dreamflower.

I love how musical your Pippin always is. This is such a great angsty piece; I love how Merry panics for a bit, wondering where Pippin is, and how he comforts him.

I love the vision of Pippin being the strong one - and releasing his grief through music. The picture of him standing beside the Brandywine and sending his grief downstream to the wide sea is beautiful and lyrical.

The imagery in this story is so hauntingly sad and beautiful. I could see, in my mind's eye, this small figure standing alone in the fog pouring his grief out in his music. Great job, Dreamflower.
