One of my all time favorites. And Legolas is a great elfling in this one. He's cute but not overly so. Well done.

There ought to be more stories like this. I love glimpses of Thranduil and young Legolas, especially in the hands of an author so gifted as JastaElf. I love the long look at Thranduil that we get in the beginning of the story before Legolas is added to the action, and later Brethilas. Heart-warming, bittersweet tale, especially for Thranduil's part, and I very much enjoyed it.

A beautiful and heartwrenching tale. This is one of your that I hadn't read before and I was delighted to find it on this list.

Yet another review to fall prey to my Swiss Chese memory. I do have an ff.net review to go by, so I know I liked this story, especially part where Legolas is afraid all his words will fall out! JastaElf did well in bringing out the magic in Mirkwood it as well as the danger. I like what we've gotten to see of Brethilas, Legolas's brother from other stories. Speaking of other stories....
