You can feel Faramir's helplessness as he asks why Boromir did not return. I often wonder how guilty Faramir might have felt after the war, he couldn't save Boromir, or his father, but maybe he knew he couldn't have saved either one anyway.

Broody and moving little piece of introspection. I like the repetition of the word "quiet" and how it seems to draw everything together. I imagine that Faramir's mind is a very quiet place, especially at times like this.

Such a sad and moving story of Faramir's remembrances of his brother. Archet asks the questions we all do when someone we love is taken from us, the biggest one being why? I especially liked the two ending lines, where Faramir states that he misses his brother. Very well done.
