I always knew there was something seriously wrong with the Witch-king. Now I know why. Wonderfully twisted tale about a boy who desperately needs therapy, though I doubt that even the Númenóreans could do much for him. I enjoyed the way this story was framed as a vital piece of intelligence passed from Gandalf to Glorfindel and how Khamûl's origins were partially tied in with Sauron's decision to settle in Dol Guldur. Nice foreboding all around, and I like the idea that the Witch-king could trace his ancestry back to Melian. That's disconcerting, actually.

This is an interesting and unusual perspective of the making of the Witchking. Well thought-out plot and enjoyable style of writing

A realistic look at how the Witch King may have come to be, and a moral lesson as well, as to what bullying can possibly lead to.
