This is so emotional and provocative and poetic. It is one of my all time favorite drabbles. I love how you show the many sides of Celeborn--he was so much more than 'Galadriel's consort' as he came across in the movies--and you do a wonderful job showing that here. You also do an incredible job showing how their separation tore them both up. But my favorite part is the parallel between the last lines in each drabble--the reference to the gold band and how in the end that finger begins the healing. This one literally brings tears to my eyes. So well done!

Akk, *clutches heart* Lovely, Elena! Both for Galadriel's description of what Celeborn was to everyone else compared to how he could be with her, and Celeborn's description of seeing Galadriel as glacial magnificence of Taniquetil where he saw the fires of Orodruin. What a magnificence insight. Beautifully done.

A beautiful double drabble about one of Middle-earth's most beloved couples. Will they or won't they? This gives a satisfactory 'final answer' to that seemingly eternal question.

Ahh. So few words. So much emotion. So much power - like opposite poles, they attract. I love these two drabbles - they seem to sum up the effect Celeborn and Galadriel have on each other.

What a wonderful way to point out all of Celeborn's roles! The Wise, ruler, ada, husband! Very well done! Very touching!
