Nice to see Rumil as something other than the younger, totally goofy brother. Interesting ways Erestor used to get the two of them together. Good read.

This is another story I could read over and over. Enismirdal's writing is rich in detail, poetic and lyrical. Her characters come to life and are quite endearing. A blend of classic romance and mystery, the story follows Rumil in his witty, wonderful and engenious courtship of Melpomaen's younger brother Faelon, who at first will have nothing to do with the Silvan elf. With the help of Erestor, who has been through a similar experience with Glorfindel, Rumil slowly changes Faelon's mind. It is not just the wonderful plot of the story that makes it so readable, but the way Enismirdal sets each scene with stunning imagery and attention to detail. A lovely tale that I highly recommend.
