This is perhaps my favorite series of drabbles ever. I love these to bits. I thought the way you framed them, with Legolas's mother's point of view was absolutely brilliant. And I loved the aspects of Legolas that you caught with these. It's hard to say which one I like the best--I like Galion's view of lost little Legolas and the elleth's view of him. I thought including the orc's view of him was a really clever idea. But I really loved the one you did for Elrond. I'm amazed at how much of Elrond's decision you packed into 100 words. Amongst the Fellowship, it was Pippin's view that struck me most. I so see Legolas in the Fellowship as Pippin did there. And I liked what some of these showed not only about Legolas, but about the POV characters as well. More than anything else that I've ever read, this series of drabbles perfectly captures who canon!Legolas is. An absolutely wonderful series that should be required reading for anyone who wants to write Legolas stories.

A remarkable idea: a series of drabbles, exploring from differing POVs the subject of Legolas. I was very taken by all of them, but most especially by those of the hobbits--who were in their own ways very shrewd judges of character, even of Elves. And Gimli's POV was very funny and touching. Very well constructed as well! Not a word wasted, and each drabble capturing the person it came from.

A lovely kaleidoscope of impressions and facets (canon and original) of Legolas, by friends, acquaintances and foes alike. The drabbles manage to create clear images with just a few well-chosen words, not only of Legolas, but also of the respective PoV-characters.

A carefully thought out and well-written series of drabbles that tell the complete story of Legolas' life.

Each drabble in the series is appropriate to the observers, and I especially liked Merry and Pippin's spot on conclusions about their new friend. Nicely done!

An excellent drabble set, very in character for both Legolas and the pov of each of the observers. I especially enjoyed the hobbity ones!

Interesting idea. I liked Pippin's drabble best, followed by Gimli's two.
