I love this glimpse into the social life of the family of Fëanáro; the summers spent as an extended family enjoying themselves - and these four young adults working on their own private, but very practical, project involving many skills to achieve the aim of the youngest of them. It is always interesting to read a story written by someone with real practical knowledge of what they are describing; Erulisse clearly has such knowledge - what a shame that, off-line, she is not physically close enough to Clodia Metelli for them to collaborate on a practical project...

-- It would be such a joy to collaborate with Clodia, an author whose work I have admired for a long time. What an honor that you would even think to mention such a thing. I love my Feanorian family, and my young glassworker is very much the gay prankster in the halcyon days of her youth. I'm delighted that you enjoyed this small slice of her life. - Erulisse (one L)

I like Erulisse's OFC, Helyanwe; I think she is very well described and characterized. I love this nice tale from her childhood.

-- Thank you, Ellynn. I adore Helyanwe who came to visit for a short stay last year and refuses to leave. This excerpt from her childhood always makes me laugh and I'm delighted that you enjoyed it also. - Erulisse (one L)

A gentle story that made me laugh. Helyanwë is a spunky young woman, and a wonderful original character.

-- Helyanwe is my favorite OFC and pops her head up often, wanted to tell more of her story. I'm delighted that her sense of fun came through well for you. Thank you for your review, I appreciated it very much. - Erulisse (one L)

What a lot of work to get a rise out of Indis. But it was worth it in the end.

-- Sometimes the actions of pulling a good practical joke are just as much fun as the reactions. I think the three friends had a really fun time helping Helyanwe accomplish her two goals, and that it would give the quartet something to look back on in the later, darker, times of their lives. Thank you for your review. - Erulisse (one L)
