I don't usually read slash, especially not with incestuous pairings, but this came as close as any I have ever read to making such a scenario "work". It's so refreshing to see a piece treat the social implications seriously instead of just brushing them to the side.

The most powerful writer I know. Dwimordene writes so well that I followed her through 'From the other riverbank' and was overwhelmed by her vision. It took weeks to blot out with time this notion of Boromir's and Denethor's homosexuality. And that although I really do not think that Tolkien's Boromir and Denethor are homosexuals. She wrote it so believable that she managed to change my mind for some time.
