This story will set the hearts of Frodo fans a-flutter! He is so brave here, even while he is afraid and I love the way that the author balances that; it's very realistic and so very much as I see Frodo myself. I love that he takes action himself and doesn't just wait to be rescued by the bigger warriors in the Fellowship. All of this authors stories are really exciting and all of them have a wonderful balance of emotions. This one is mostly angsty and dramatic so far an I can't wait to read more of this. I love the water-goblins and think that they are a very cool invetion!

A very promising beginning and I am looking forward to more! Budgielover excels at getting Frodo and the Fellowship into deep trouble and this story is no exception. The water goblins are a suitably grim and frightening creation, the cliffhangers are nonstop and the characterisations of all of the Fellowship are excellent. Her action-packed tales never disappoint and this is another very entertaining addition to Budgie's adventure-filled universe. Hopefully she will post the next chapter very soon!

Once again Budgielover has created a story rife with exciting cliffhangers! The water-goblins are a marvelous invention and the characterisations of each member of the Fellowship are very well done.

Ah, a story I HOPE to see finished soon! As the Fellowship stops for water, Frodo is grabbed by water goblins, and the remaining members are endangered. An exciting story of dangers that might have threatened the Fellowship as they traveled south from Rivendell.

This story is off to a great start. The idea of a race of goblins that live in the water is very creative.
