I have to admit that I am one of the people not overly fond of seeing elves at Helms Deep in the movie--despite the fact that Haldir is dreamy. ;-) But nonetheless, I really enjoyed this poem. I have all the poetic rhythm of a rhinoceros, so I am always impressed with people who do manage to maintain a consistant rhythm in their poetry. You always do, and you have written so many poems. A very sad and touching poem. Great job!

Laiquendi describes one of the more intense scenes of "The Two Towers" movie--the elves and men fighting side by side at Helm's Deep in the rain. Good job with the rhyme scheme, and the image of the [starless, rain filled sky] is striking. Nicely done!

Well-done look at the movie-verse death of Haldir at Helm's Deep. Good use of rhyme and meter.
