Hey all:
I don't *think* this is the same as the question about Review Replies, but I guess it's similar. As I'm browsing reviews I occasionally see a red link for "Read the Author's Reply." However, when I click I only see the review. I've tried several different different times with the same result; I've also tried both signed in and signed out. I wanted to ask
A) Is everyone supposed to be able to view this link, or just the author and the original reviewer?
B) Is there something I am missing at my end? (some setting or other), or
C) Is this a functionality that isn't fully in place yet?
On sites like LOTRfanfic.com and SWG, which include this functionality, I have enjoyed seeing how authors respond to some reviews, so if that is your intent then it's pretty neat!
(By the way, lest it sound like I am complaining or asking for this to be focused on, I will add that I'm not sweating the fact that I can't see something at present: frankly, I have reviews I should be writing. I just figured I would bring it up in case it is a problem, and in case anyone else is experiencing it.)
Hi mvoltfan,
The replies are only visible to the author and reviewer until the end of the
awards, then they will be publicly available. I've fixed it so that link
will only show up then.
Thanks for catching that!
