Will Legolas be able to keep a secret, that if revealed, could shatter the lives of those he cares for? Will Buffy be able to fulfil her duty? Will Denethor be able to put aside his animosity for the man who would supplant him? Will the ringbearer reach Mount Doom, or will he be cut down before he reaches his goal? And will Boromir resist the lure of the ring?

Sorry, hon. I don't think you got my recent message apologizing for not
updating eh welcome message. Nomination Season was back in May and closed
on June 15th. We're now in Reading Season. I'll try to be better about this
in the future. Anyway, save your nomination for next year. I see you're

Hi ElfQueen,

I'm sorry - I'm not sure quite what you mean. Nominations open April
1, and anyone can nominate a story - a reader or an author. So if
you're not very well known and are afraid that people won't nominate
them, you can nominate your best pieces yourself, if you'd like for
them to compete.

If you're asking how to get more notice in general, I've discovered
that the best way to get noticed is to give other people notice. If
you review someone or (better yet) offer to beta their piece, you
forge a relationship. They know your name so they're more likely to
read your stuff. From there, it just has to be good enough to be
memorable (for the right reasons!)
