Possibly a dumb question Posted by shippingindustry June 16, 2004 - 17:15:59 Topic ID# 1473Maybe even probably.
Have read the FAQ and rules. I might have missed something; things
are very busy around here until bedtime, and after the little ones go
to bed dh is usually the one online, not me. So if I missed the
obvious, well, I can make lots of excuses.
I see the schedule goes like this:
VI. Schedule
A. Nomination Season: April 30th through June 15th
B. Check Ballot Season: June 15th through June 30th
C. Reading Season: July 1st through September 15th
D. Voting Season: September 16st through October 30th
E. FanArt Season: November 1st through November 15th
F. Awards Results: Announced by November 15th
I'm not sure what you mean by "check ballot" season. Will go back and
look through old messages if I get the time. But teen is breathing
down my neck for her online time, so maybe not.
I see "reading season" and "voting season" are separate. Does this
mean we read but withhold our comments until after the reading season
closes? (I assume this would be in order not to influence other
readers?)
I need to go back and read more about the FanArt Season and what
that's all about. Must admit I concentrated on the stories aspect of
it all up until now.
Thanks.
Lin

Re: Possibly a dumb question Posted by Ainaechoiriel June 16, 2004 - 18:41:39 Topic ID# 1473Thanks, Marta. I didn't see the second question. I was in a rush to get all
the Author Contact Campaign mails out before I leave for choir.
Which I have to do right now!
When I get back, I'll add some more approved stories to the web site!
