We are still seeking some FanArt submissions. Our FanArt contest will be
run by poll and will consist of Awards Banners for the FanFiction Awards.
There are three titled Awards for each category, and each titled Award needs
at least to have 2 banners if there is to be a vote. Thankfully, all of our
Awards will have at least one banner, but it'd be great to have more to vote
on.
If you have recently uploaded a banner, and don't see it on the
http://home.earthlink.net/~ainae/mefa site, e-mail them to me. I can't pick
them up from the YahooGroup Photos section without them blowing up in size.
These titles, in particular have only a few banners:
Men: The Faithful of Numenor Award (presently has 3)
Hobbits: The Mayor of Hobbiton Award (2)
Orcs: The Orthanc Award (2)
Numenor: Elros Son of Earendil Award (2)
Numenor: The Tar-Palantir Award (2)
Numenor: The Tar-Miriel Award (1)
Humor: The Tom Bombadil Award (2)
Humor: The Bilbo Baggins Award (3)
Humor: The Barliman Butterbur Award (2)
Drama: The Turin Turambar Award (2)
Drama: The Nimrodel and Amroth (4-but all using the same base picture)
Romance: The Luthien and Beren Award (2)
Romance: The Tuor and Idril Award (1)
Horror: The Morgoth Bauglir Award (3)
Mystery: The Shadows of Cuivienen Award (2)
Crossovers: The Pirates of the Caribbean Award (1)
Crossovers: The Hidalgo Award (1)
Crossovers: The Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade Award (1)
The Silm: The Valaquenta Award (2)
The Silm: The Akallabeth Award (2)
The Hobbit: The Lonely Mountain Award (3)
LOTR: The Return of the King Award (2)
Reminder:
All submissions should be banner-shaped (rectangular, though a fair-sized
square could work, too). But there is not hard and fast rule on the size.
Just keep them *smallish* to be banners, not page-sized behemoths or
anything. We want these to be something winners will want to post on their
sites along with their stories. They should be in a .jpg or .gif format.
(.jpg preferred)
Banners should have the following Words on them: (the award title), "2004",
and "MEFA". They should be geared to the individual award title. For
example, a Witch King banner for The Witch-King of Angmar Award, not a
collection of Orcs.
